The 2nd best cafe in the world

I won’t be spoiling anyone’s secret surfing cafe because even if the tourists decided, on the back of this blog, that Carat’s cafe in Shoreham was indeed the 2nd best cafe in the world, they couldn’t be bothered to travel there. Lazy fuckers. That’s why they congregate around the pier formerly known as the Palace. Yesterday began with a delightful bicycle ride along the sea front (please note, this is not a euphemism for rough sex) with David Ingledew and Guy Tarring. Beyond Shoreham harbour, on the seaside, we found Carat’s cafe. The food ain’t great but it is cheap and its all just plain grand.
