30th June: protests against government escalate

Strike Or Be Sick

Even the Archbishop of Canterbury has joined in the fray now, pointing out that this government has adopted big policies in no election manifesto. Thursday 30th June looks to be the next big day of action against the thieving Tory bastards. There will be strikes, there will be walk outs. If you are alone without a union action to cover you, then it is time to pull a sickie. The trick is to phone ill with a deadpan voice and just say that you cannot come to work because you are ill. Say that you have a debilitating headache.

This government is weaker than you might think. After all, they did not win a majority and haven’t made much a case for anything since then. The U-turns mount up. Our protests are large and steadily escalating. People otherwise disinterested in politics are being politicised and government supporters are being disillusioned. Not many people willing to admit to being fans of the scumbag Liberal Democrats now are there? The demographic constituency which tends to support the thieving Tory bastards may have hardened a little but it has not grown. Labour is ahead of them in the polls.

If you are self-employed you are well placed to throw a sickie. Ask yourself: are you with us or not?
