
Written on Saturday 8th October… Appreciate that this may be tricky to see. click on the picture to enlarge it. At first glance it just looks like the usual crowd if street drinkers hanging around this monument near the bottom of Trafalgar Street in Brighton. Obviously they’re all bawling at each and their dog is barking incessantly.
Look at the monument again. See that cavity on the left hand side. Can’t say I’ve ever noticed it before. Just saw one of the street drinkers reach in and retrieve a large bag of Co-Op branded porridge!
Good stuff porridge. Cheap, wholesome and, erm, keeps you regular. Is this one of Brighton’s best kept secrets? Have I blown the cover? Are there other food caches around town.
