Kitchen decommissioned

Let’s call this step one. Never liked the phrase step one. Really, it’s the second step but you haven’t seen the first step yet.

Nothing is impossible and everything is risky

The question is how risky? Having done plenty of training and with the supervision of a qualified electrician, I’ve minimised the practical and legal risks attached to rewiring my own home. I want to play safe, unlike these fellows:

I know what drives young men to so stuff like that but it puts my teenage years climbing the trees in Queen’s Park, Brighton, into the shade. If my current project was analogous to the fellow at 1:28 in the next video for I would be doing a perfect house rewire but on my neighbour’s home instead of mine.

Got to further places inside my ‘basement’ than I cared to. A new personal best. There’s room for more, in several directions, but that’s enough for now. Choking dust, cramped twists and a different geography.

Stupidly I didn’t take the 2.5mm which will be sharing the same journey as this 6mm.
