My last cookery lesson seems to have been popular for all the wrong reasons. My wife laughed so hard she had to turn away from watching the screen to prevent herself from injury. She asked whether she could, “send the link to everyone she knows?” Naturally, I agreed but I did wonder whether my pitch at becoming a TV chef was instead deteriorating into an exercise in public self-humiliation. Let’s hope not. House husbands have never had an easy ride so let this be a rallying call! I’ve raised the stakes and produced my best cookery video yet. Doubtless, even if my own wife can only see the funny side, hard working wives around the world will be grateful to their own house husbands for learning this culinary lesson.
